Lifestyle drivers that are extremely common

  • Sleep debt, even if you are in bed for hours
  • High stress and constant mental load
  • Low movement and low fitness
  • Alcohol, especially late night drinking
  • Poor recovery habits, no downtime, no decompression

When to seek a clinician review sooner

  • Fatigue is severe and persistent for weeks
  • You feel unwell, have fever, unexplained weight change, or new symptoms
  • You have chest symptoms, shortness of breath, or fainting
  • You are falling asleep dangerously, especially while driving
  • Mood is low or anxiety is high and worsening

What to track for two weeks

  • Sleep timing and restfulness
  • Alcohol, caffeine, and exercise
  • Stress level and mood
  • Energy, morning, afternoon, evening
