Some issues can be supported through structured telehealth conversations. Some need additional support, and that is not a failure. It is a normal part of healthcare.

Seek urgent help if

  • You have thoughts of self harm or suicide
  • You feel unsafe or out of control
  • You are experiencing severe panic or severe worsening symptoms
  • You have psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations or severe paranoia

Non urgent support options

  • Speak with your GP for a general health review and support pathway
  • Consider a psychologist or counsellor for anxiety, shame, and relationship support
  • If medication is part of your care, discuss side effects and options with a qualified prescriber
  • Lean on trusted people, isolation worsens distress

How to start the conversation with your GP

You can say, my mood has been low or my anxiety has been high, and it is affecting sleep and sexual confidence. I would like support and a plan.
